MD Preventive Medicine Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates should have passed an M.B.B.S. degree or any other equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institute.
2. Candidates waiting for their final year examination’s result are welcomed too, but admission to such candidates will be given on a provisional basis.
3. Candidates should have completed a 1- year compulsory rotating internship after passing the final professional examination which is MBBS.
4. Some of the very reputed institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.
Admission Process for Preventative Medicine
NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate) is a national level exam conducted for students who have completed their MBBS or any degree with the same relevance.
AIIMS PG - All India Institute of Medical Sciences Post Graduate Test (AIIMS-PG) is conducted by the AIIMS, Delhi for the aspiring candidates who have completed their MBBS and want to pursue MD, DM, MS, M.Ch, and MDS.
JIPMER PG - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Post Graduate (JIPMER PG) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to JIPMER College.
COMEDK PG - Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka is an all-India examination held for the medical institution in Karnataka.
